Helping children communicate for life!
MY
EXPERIENCE
I have worked with preschoolers, elementary age, middle school, and high school children for over 18 years. When I first started my career, I had the amazing opportunity to evaluate and treat children in the Birth - 3 years old program at Amos Cottage (Winston-Salem CDSA).
This opportunity became the stepping stone to my love and enthusiasm for children with speech disorders, syndromes, autism spectrum disorder, and rare genetic disorders. I began my service for the WSFCS school system as an itinerant speech therapist with the Preschool Department and worked there for 15 years. I then decided to work with middle school and high school students and enjoyed working on higher critical thinking skills and classroom curriculum. I accepted a position with Guilford County Preschool Intake Department in 2021 and currently serve as a diagnostician on their preschool evaluation team. I love my speech children and strive to make as much progress as possible with their speech goals! My experience ranges from early intervention (birth-three) all the way up to high school.
